A friend of mine turned me on to this documentary on cane toads once. It was the funniest show I’ve ever seen I think. (well – maybe not compared to Monty Python, but it was funny) ie Cane toads are completely over sexed. They had video of these things humping flattened cane toads in the road and then getting hit themselves! Or there was the baby that had a cane toad pet.

Cane toads were introduced to Australia to combat something (I forget what). Ever since, with no natural predators they’ve been a problem.
Now they are threatening the pygmy crocodile

Yet another example of how ‘well’ humans manage wildlife!
