Two years ago I hired an animal communicator to speak to one of my horses I was having a hard time understanding and I wanted to make certain I wasn’t screwing him up.
She introduced me to a whole new world.
I’ve always loved/respected animals. My pets have always been well behaved and loyal and happy. But this speaking to my horse opened my eyes a bit to the fact that these animals of ours have their own lives apart from us. I knew this of course (my dogs have preferred some dog friends to others etc) but to the point of they don’t know we own them.
Why do I have to wear the leash? What’s with this halter? I’m done talking with you now.
They have lives. They make choices. They work very hard to communicate with us – if they give a rat’s petuty.
And what’s more – the more I learn, the more I understand what they’re saying.
Staying focused (though with wide vision) is important in this journey. Trusting my instincts is important. Knowing what my new convictions are so that I might stand by them faithfully is important.
Off I/we go.
